Overview
High Capacity and Robust Design
Engineered with Epson's Complex Production Architecture, the DS-32000 is built to meet demanding scanning requirements. The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) supports a wide range of media, including passports, passbooks, ID cards, and large-format documents, making it highly versatile.
Adjustable Chassis Design
The DS-32000 features a unique adjustable chassis with three positions: Normal, Horizontal, and Compact. This design allows users to select the best physical position for their scanning needs, and when in the compact position, the unit folds for easy storage.
User Control and Advanced Features
The scanner includes a 2.7" backlit touchscreen that displays pre-defined scan jobs and provides step-by-step instructions for machine cleaning and maintenance. Advanced paper-protection sensors prevent document damage, and ultrasonic sensors ensure all documents are scanned, maintaining data integrity.
Software and Integration
The DS-32000 comes with Document Capture Pro 3.0 software, which includes OCR functionality for producing crisp, clear images. It supports a wide range of drivers, including TWAIN, ISIS, WIA, SANE, and ICA, for easy integration into most document management systems.
Optional Flatbed Scanners
For additional flexibility, optional A4 (DS-5500) and A3 (DS-50000) flatbed scanners are available, allowing for the scanning of books, bound media, and other large documents.
